ROYAL BAFOKENG SPORTS PALACE in Phokeng
Due to our involvement with the original design Roon Architects (now in Paternoster) were appointed again to design the upgrade to comply to FIFA requirements for the 2010 Soccer World Cup. We formed BSP Architects Consortium in Pretoria and Rustenburg in order to be able to handle the work in Phokeng. This arrangement is still in place for bigger projects
In 2010 we were awarded the Award for Technical Excellence for the manner in which the complex forms of both the existing and the new were itegrated into a new pleasing structure
